snow sends fathomless missives to the ocean
frozen kisses that kindle love
and we become one
storms thunder and unleash rain
born from a mountain glacial lake
in the watery center of my being
across the distance I traverse to you
naturally responding to the power
of your gravitational pull
ebb and flow I travel and remain still
upon a rocky shoreline,
deep current and unending whole
so very cool anna…wow…just leaves me breathless…the strong attraction…being pulled, responding to the power..within the own boundaries, still whole…born from a mountain glacial lake in the watery center of my being….really gave me shivers…so felt..
smiles…love how the nature elements in htis…the storm, play off the power of that attraction…you include many elements is love…again, the storm, but the ocean…unending whole is a great touch there in the end as well…
you describe the intense power drawing the two together so perfectly. I realize that it is probably just me, but there is something in your use of cold (snow, frozen, glacial) that seems to make it even more powerful—the idea that the pull is so strong as to break the ice barring this union.
this is so beautifully romantic, the fabulous power of love, rivaled only by the power of mother nature herself… and i love that in the end, it makes you (us) whole
What powerful imagery!
This is gorgeous, Anna. I am not sure I’ve ever read a more perfect title, either. Great work.
